Roselma Samala
Roselma Samala joined the Weingart Foundation in 2022 as Program Officer. With over 20 years of experience, Roselma began her career as a Fiscal Officer for UCLA BruinCorps prior to her philanthropic experience working for two family foundations (The Merage Foundation and The Carl & Roberta Deutsch Foundation) and as Workforce Initiative Manager for Los Angeles Universal Preschool (LAUP). Born and raised in Southern Californian, she graduated from UCLA with a BA in Sociology and Asian American Studies, and later received her MBA from the Yale School of Management.
