Freedom. Hope. Equity. Opportunity. These are California’s values – these are America’s values. They course through our bustling city streets, echo across our abundant fields, rise with our ocean waves, and pulse within our people. 

We stand in solidarity with our frontline partners and pledge to invest boldly to drive racial justice, advance prosperity, and sustain California as a global force – not despite our diversity but because of it. We renew our promise to protect and defend our people, our rights, our environment, and our progress. We commit to deploy our resources, speaking up for what is right and speaking out against injustice. 

The Golden State has weathered dark storms of division before, as has our nation, but we have always come back stronger, persistent in our pursuit of progress. Together we will not only safeguard the California Dream, the American Dream – we will redefine it so that it lives up to its promise and potential, for all of us.”
