As we have previously reported, the Weingart Foundation conducted a number of focus groups with our Southern California grantees to solicit anonymous feedback on our grant-making program. During those meetings, a number of grantees suggested that we ensure our grant guidelines are as clear as possible. We took this advice seriously, and over the past year thoroughly reviewed our grant guidelines, providing additional guidance on grant focus, types of support, and funding amounts. We have also updated the FAQ section.
